Calvin and Hobbes are real!?

Well no, not really… but kind of.  Since I was a kid I’ve always been a fan of Calvin and Hobbes.  In recent years, going back and reading the books again definitely gives them a lot more meaning, and are by far funnier than they used to be (because I’m older and wiser; right?).  Calvin and Hobbes first appeared in 1985.  Calvin was a six-year old boy, and Hobbes was his stuffed (read: plush) tiger, and they would go on all sorts of adventures together.

I came across a very cool article by PetaPixel on some photographs with Calvin and Hobbes photoshopped into them by photographer Michael S. Den Beste.  Very cool stuff, I must say.

Check out the full article and more images here on PetaPixel’s page.  Also, in 1985… I was 6 years old too… so Calvin “is now” my age (33).  Damn that’s weird.
